The schools within our district, Concow and Community Day School, are places of learning where staff strives to educate students to become successful, productive, and responsible members of society.

   Golden Feather staff and community strive to work together to create programs that produce confident, skilled students.  There is a strong focus on a well-balanced education for every student with high standards aimed at excellence and student achievement.  Through the district-wide implementation of Second Step, a program that addresses self-awareness, self-esteem, personal development, cultural competence, decision-making skills, conflict management, and anger control, we seek to meet the needs of the whole child.

   Golden Feather parents also play an important role through their active participation and involvement in School Site Council, Parents' Club, various annual events, special activities, and regular volunteering of their services in and out of the classrooms.
